Privacy Policy

This notice explains what data the virgiliuslabs.com website processes, why and for how long.
1. Controller
Valerio Tocci (Virgilius Labs), sole proprietorship, Italian VAT number 18201181007, Via Camillo Serafini 15, 00164 Rome, Italy. For any privacy request: info@virgiliuslabs.com.
2. Contact form
When you write to us through the form we process your name, email, project type and message, to answer you and prepare a quote (legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request). Your message reaches us by email and you get an automatic confirmation. We keep this data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting project.
3. Website assistant
The “Ally” assistant at the bottom right is based on artificial intelligence and provided by IoAlly, which processes data on our behalf. We process the messages you write and, if you leave them, your name and contact details, to answer you and get back to you (legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest in replying). Answers are generated automatically and may contain mistakes: for prices and conditions, the website pages and our quote apply. 4. Technical data
The website is hosted by Vercel, which records technical data such as IP address and browser for security and operation (legitimate interest), for as long as strictly necessary. We don’t use analytics tools or profiling cookies.
5. Providers
Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Cloudflare Inc. (domain management), Resend Inc. (sending contact form emails), IoAlly (website assistant, with the providers listed in its notice). Some process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
6. Browser storage
The assistant stores a random code in your browser, to continue the same conversation if you come back, and, for the current visit only, a note that the greeting has already been shown. These are technical tools that require no consent.
7. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to it and receive it in a readable format, by writing to info@virgiliuslabs.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
